The Siskiyou Bowmen Archery Club has instituted a second scholarship in memory of Ryan D. Campbell, a previous club member and also a family member. Ryan was an outstanding young man with incredible character. He counseled many of our communities youth as well as having been an exceptional role model for adults. The club will be offering a $500.00 scholarship in his name to a graduating senior who will be attending college or vocational school for the upcoming year. Applicants must be candidates for graduation from Etna Union High School or Scott River High School and intend to enroll in an institution of higher learning for the Fall, following high school graduation. Continuing scholarships are also available to alumni students who have previously graduated from the Scott Valley Unified School District.

The Fairchild Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship will award a $1,000.00 scholarship to a local student who is planning a career in some branch of the medical field. In order to be qualified, applicants must be from the area served by Fairchild Medical Center and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The College of the Siskiyous Promise is designed to remove the economic barriers to education. The "Promise" is graduating seniors from Siskiyou and Modoc County high schools (who are also California residents) will have their enrollment fees ($46/unit cost of classes, health fee, student rep fee, and student center fees) fully funded during their first full academic year (consecutive fall and spring semesters after high school graduation) of attendance at College of the Siskiyous, crediting any applicable financial assistance. Promise students will also receive a book voucher for use in the Campus Bookstore during the fall ($200) and spring ($200) semesters. Promise students must enroll as a full-time student (at least 12, but recommend 15 units) to be eligible for funding.
The Siskiyou Promise Scholarship is limited to two full, regular academic years (fall and spring semesters only) which excludes winter intersession and summer session. The College of the Siskiyous (COS) Foundation is committed to providing financial assistance to College of the Siskiyous students demonstrating ongoing academic effort and or financial need. Scholarship award amounts vary from $250 to $3,000. The application process opens early January of each year and closes mid March. Applications are available online, or may be picked up from the Weed Campus Admissions and Records Office, Foundation Office (located in Building 95 - next to the Science Building and Gym Parking Lot), or the Yreka Campus Business Office. The Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California is a Portuguese based organization dedicated to promoting education, civic responsibility and citizenship. To qualify for the scholarship students must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and be of Portuguese descent. Applications must be received via mail no latter than March 15th, 2019.
