One scholarship at $1,000 Graduating seniors from all Siskiyou County high schools who are pursuing careers in the following artistic fields are invited to apply: quilting, fabric design, fabric or fiber arts, graphic design, fine arts or applied arts. Applications from COS students transferring to other schools will also be considered as well as past Shasta Lily Quilt Guild scholarship winners. The Fairchild Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarship will award a $1,000.00 scholarship to a local student who is planning a career in some branch of the medical field. In order to be qualified, applicants must be from the area served by Fairchild Medical Center and have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. The Siskiyou Bowmen Archery Club has instituted a second scholarship in memory of Ryan D. Campbell, a previous club member and also a family member. Ryan was an outstanding young man with incredible character. He counseled many of our communities youth as well as having been an exceptional role model for adults. The club will be offering a $500.00 scholarship in his name to a graduating senior who will be attending college or vocational school for the upcoming year. Qualifications: The applicant must: 1. Be pursuing a career in the community/civil services industry (teaching, counseling, youth programs, ets.) 2. Be a graduating Siskiyou County high senior 3. Preference will be given to those students who have actively participated in their community, extra curricular activities, all the while maintaining their GPS. This scholarship is offered to any Siskiyou County High School graduating senior interested in pursuing a career in Natural Resources, Agriculture, or Medicine. Two scholarships of $250.00 will be awarded. For more information and to download the application please click on the file below.
The College of the Siskiyous Promise is designed to remove the economic barriers to education. The "Promise" is graduating seniors from Siskiyou County and Modoc County high schools will have their enrollment fees, health fee, student representative fee and student center fees fully funded during their first year (consecutive fall and spring semesters) of attendance at College of the Siskiyous, crediting any applicable financial assistance. Promise students will also receive a book voucher for use in the Campus Bookstore during the fall and spring semesters.

The Italian Catholic Federation is a National Roman Catholic Fraternal Organization composed of persons of Italian ancestry who are of the Roman Catholic Faith. Annually, they offer scholarship opportunities to students who achieve a cumulative GPA of 3.2 and either are 1) Roman Catholic and of Italian Descent and live within the Roman Catholic Dioceses of Arizona, California, Illinois and Nevada or 2) if either Roman Catholic parent, guardian, or grandparent is a member of the Italian Catholic Federation the student must be Roman Catholic but need not be of Italian Descent or live where branches of the federation are established. American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is a nationwide non-profit organization. Our mission is to provide direct input into the deliberations and developments of energy policies, regulations, emerging technologies, and environmental issues. We also offer scholarships to graduating high school students who plan to attend a university. For 2020, AABE California Chapter is offering (5) $1,000 scholarship to high school seniors who meet the criteria. There are additional opportunities for the selected high school students to earn (1) $3,000 scholarship at the Western Region level and (1) $5,000 scholarship at National level.
