Scholarship Requirements 1) High School Senior (graduating) 2) CA resident 3) Financial need 4) Academics (2.6 GPA and above) 5) Employment: Paid or unpaid Community Service Extracurricular Activities Please note that we encourage students to apply that have extraordinary circumstances in their lives as well as students who may not have the chance to attend college without financial assistance. We are looking for students that understand and exemplify the meaning of "hard work". High school seniors chosen as recipients of the Splawn Scholarship have a chance to renew the scholarship once yearly while they are in college. Renewals take place in the Fall of every year. The North Central District (NCD) of the American Association of Family and Consumer Sciences are offering three scholarships to high school seniors pursuing career studies in any related Family and Consumer Science Field (Consumer Science, Early Child Development, Food Science, Dietetics and Nutrition, Family and Consumer Science Education, Food Service and Hospitality, Fashion Design, Interior Design and Furnishings) at an accredited Community College, Technical, Vocational Institution or State College or University. The Siskiyou Bowmen Archery Club has instituted a second scholarship in memory of Ryan D. Campbell, a previous club member and also a family member. Ryan was an outstanding young man with incredible character. He counseled many of our communities youth as well as having been an exceptional role model for adults. The club will be offering a $500.00 scholarship in his name to a graduating senior who will be attending college or vocational school for the upcoming year.
