The Marine Corps League Siskiyou Detachment #936 has implemented a scholarship fund with the intent of supporting Siskiyou County high school graduates in the pursuit of higher education. We will fund this endeavor for the benefit of qualified children and grandchildren of veterans of Siskiyou County as a way of paying tribute to those that served honorably in the armed forces of our nation. A number of scholarships ranging in amounts from $250 to $3000 may be awarded to high school seniors attending school within the Sierra-Cascade Region, who plan to continue their academic studies at the College level in Agriculture, Natural Resources, Industrial Technology (welding, diesel mechanics...), or a related field. The Siskiyou Women in Business are offering a $500 dollar scholarship to a senior lady in Siskiyou County. Each year ACSA Region 1 will award scholarships during the month of May to graduating high school seniors who have a parent/caregiver who is a member of ACSA Region 1 and works in a school district in Region 1. The number of scholarships varies each year. Application. ELIGIBILITY – The applicant must: 1. Be a child of, or under the guardianship of, a Region 1 ACSA member. 2.
